Net Zero Commitment

Net Zero Commitment

GM Dental Lab is committed to supporting the NHS ambition to become a Net Zero health service and to reducing the environmental impact of our clinical and operational activities.

We are working towards achieving Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2045, in line with the NHS national Net Zero target.

Our commitment to sustainability includes:

- Reducing energy consumption across all practice sites

- Improving waste segregation and recycling processes

- Reducing unnecessary paper use through digital systems

- Minimising the use of single-use plastics where clinically appropriate

- Using energy-efficient equipment and LED lighting

- Encouraging responsible travel and reducing avoidable journeys

- Working with suppliers who demonstrate environmental responsibility

We are currently developing our internal Green Plan, which will set out our baseline carbon footprint, detailed reduction actions, and ongoing monitoring across our practices.

This commitment is supported by our senior management team and integrated into our long-term service planning and quality improvement processes.
